Jaime Freedman is a Flinn scholar who graduated summa cum laude from the U of A with a creative writing degree. After years in corporate HR, Jaime decided to pursue her passion of teaching high school students and earned a masters degree in writing. With a passion for storytelling, Jaime helps students to dive into their stories and find a way to confidently submit their written work.

Group Essay Brain Storming Classes
Not sure what to write about? These group brainstorming sessions will help students realize their unique experiences. Students will walk away with at least 3 notable essay topics and the confidence to keep writing.
Time: 2 hours

Personalized Writing Sessions
For a more personalized writing experience, students will meet one-on-one with Jaime to develop their essay writing process, narrow down on a topic, and create an outline for a final product.
Time: 1 hour

Final Editing Sessions
These sessions are designed to edit already finished essays. At this point, being succinct and original are the most important qualities of the essay. Working through the final essay or scholarship application, this will be the meeting where the student walks away ready to hit “send.”

Interview Assistance
After interviewing hundreds of people, our experts know the best way for students to present themselves in an interview process. Delivering the story verbally takes practice, experience, and specific skills. With a personalized session, we will ensure that your student is ready and prepared to interview with confidence.
